In 2018 my daughter and I was just leaving the shelter after 3 months, and we were placed in a nice apartment, PRAISE GOD, before we left the staff gave us options for food Pantry's in the area we were about to move in, and ACTC was on our list. I owe everything to GOD IN CHRIST JESUS for the help that the church food pantry has shared with my daughter and I.

I, had several encounter with one supervisor it was a terrible experience. I was accuse of something that was not true. I was also threatened verbally. I was denied food for my 7 children and I because of what she heard in the pass. She always talk to me in a racist kind of way, her disposition is very nasty. She needs to be confronted about this situation, and put back in training concerning her job title.

I called to get some help and that told me that we help you a year ago. So we can't help you. But this a church. If God would said to the people who work there I gave you one blessing and your blessing is wake you up. If people are homeless you are a church you should be willing to help. Because it can be you one day who might need some help from somewhere or somebody.

A place where those in need receive a hot meal, groceries and toiletries. It's a place to get help with your BGE utility bill in times of crisis. It's a place where you can get a couple pieces of clothing items from their Surprise Shop. They also offer other outreach help unbeknownst to me. A place to share with others in times of need.

This place has helped me greatly in the passed 10yrs of being homeless. I got my lunch mon-fri plus my care bag once a week. You're able to get you mail sent there which was a huge help. They helped with hygiene needs. You can get hats, gloves, socks and coats when they have them. Also they helped me receive a new birth certificate, paid to get my licence renewed and would have got me a new SS card if I needed one. They don't just help the homeless either. They help practically anyone and family's that really needs help. You just have to be within one of the many zip codes in the area. If you're outside the area they'll give info to other places closer to your location. In other words... If you need help, I recommend ACTC.

This place is very helpful but when it comes to getting stuff done, like a birth certificate or getting bus tokens, they are very strict and a little rude and not so helpful. But the place itself and what they do is really helpful and nice.
