I am not a resident of Blakehurst, but I am assisting a resident as her dog trainer and I have had nothing but an excellent experience thus far. The entire staff from maintenance to the front desk have greeted me with a hello and smile every single time I am there. It is truly a pleasure to be surrounded by people who go the second mile to ensure that the folks going in and out feel welcomed. While the campus is beautiful, the apartments are great and the food is delicious, the amazing staff at Blakehurst is the true gift to us as residents! My husband and I cannot say enough about how engaged and caring they are.

I attended a memorial service here. I was very impressed with both the facility and the staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the building was beautifully detailed. They even have a driver to shuttle you back and forth between the service and parking areas. I only saw the lobby and a few common areas but it was extremely well appointed and clean. The food presentation was attractive. It was upscale all the way.

Five-star retirement community with excellent food, programs and award-winning staff. Great environmental for your parents and loved ones. My mother has enjoyed being there for 25 years. Excellent location and apartment layouts.

My boyfriend's Poppop lives here and every time we go to visit I'm always blown away by how kind the staff is, how many activities they have going on, and (not even kidding) how good the food actually is? A woman once joked to me that moving in means you "gain the Blakehurst 15, like a freshman 15- but for older folks" and honestly, I believe her! It's really a just wonderful place. Super nice and clean and I'm pretty jealous of some of their facilities like their work out areas and their movie theater!
