honestly I enjoyed my three years of this school. 7th grade was the best because we had a little bit of freedom and the teachers were so nice. they improved the bathrooms for sure! a lot of the students do use a lot of profanity but I’m pretty sure every school has those types of students. some of the teachers are helpful, they do their jobs correctly. you can talk to most of your teachers about anything. there’s a lot of drama but it’s better to stay out of it. but overall this school isn’t the worst.

I have had the most unpleasant experience here so far. I have one child that attends and the staff are absolutely unresponsive. All of my emails, phone calls, verbal messages have all gone unanswered. A clean sweep of the office staff needs to be done. Capable workers would make this school more tolerable.

My Son went to school there for 7th and 8th grade. It seemed to me and other parents that the majority of the staff members had no control over the students who were disrupting the class. It was like and I seen firsthand that the teachers were actually afraid of the students or at least some of them. Since then I was employed by Baltimore County food and nutrition program and worked in the cafeteria for approximately four or five months and things did not improve one bit. The children were so disrespectful to themselves teachers any adults that were working or visiting the school. Now Grant you there were some good teachers and respectful students there but the majority were not and I do believe that you need respect for yourself and others to achieve anything you want to accomplish in life. My family and I still live in the area and if I was asked if I would recommend that school for their child I would definitely say no if they could find another school in the area or a private school they should do some investigating and research. I don't mean to be so negative I'm just being honest!

This school is honestly terrible. Kids curse and fight, and joke about things that aren't meant to be joked about. Some children were touching each other, and some were making racist remarks.

Another thing, teachers don't really care about the cursing and all the disrespect even though it disrupts the class? They just let it go, or ignore it? It's so dirty and filthy here, and honestly you could do better.

southwest isn’t all that bad tbh, but it’s very annoying how only one kid can go to the bathroom at a time like i’m literally here about to pee myself while the other kid is talking 20 minutes in the bathroom. There’s a bathroom line EVERY class. there’s also lots of fights here. also everytime there’s a combined bus there’s not much seats and kids are squished together trying not to literally get trampled over, not very safe during Covid. but overall it’s kinda fun

I am in the 6th grade, and as far as I am concerned the school is wonderful! Our grade level administrator is really nice and the whole faculty works together to provide incentives for us. The teachers also work hard to teach us well.

I was there 3 years ago in the 7th grade. There was lots of name calling bullying and teachers wouldn’t do anything. The only teacher that I liked and would do something when someone would bully a kid was my science and math teacher shoutout to ms.Paul and my math teacher I don’t know how to spell her name.😂
Some teachers were actually scared of the students bro I was dead.💀
Basically I liked the school it was ight but something that happened that I didn’t like was some kid not saying names but he knows who he is so I’m Palestinian he said I get rapped by Jews
