I put a maintenance ticket in May 2024 and the issue still has NOT been resolved or acknowledged. I have stopped by the office numerous of times to inquire about this ticket and have been told “I’ll get someone on it right away”! Well, it’s Jan. 11,2025 and I’m STILL WAITING! I have another maintenance ticket I requested on May 2023! That has NOT been addressed either. I have asked for my rental ledger to be corrected since June 2023 and it still has NOT been corrected! The area itself is quiet and the common ground is kept up. Maintenance was better with this past snow on last Sunday.

I am so annoyed! Maintenance does not care at all! They don’t fix the issues on the property. There is stinky standing water sitting in my kitchen sink to what they claimed to be “ a clog in the mainline” I called the county they can by and checked the main line and they told me that what the maintenance told me is false!! They clearly told me the issue is INSIDE OF THE HOUSE and that SPARK WALDORF needs to go inside of the pipe under the sink and figure out what’s clogging! I cannot wash dishes , use my dish washer or wash clothes because the maintenance is lazy! My bathroom sinks fills up with water because of a clog as well. They came by and plunged it and left .. 2 days later the SAME issue came back! Instead of them going under the sink to help me out they rip off tenants! Ughhh so ready to move!

I moved in a month ago, the unit didn’t even look like it was fixed or cleaned after the last people left. Blinds broken, hole in floor, outlet boxes are out of the wall, outside looked abandoned. Trash in bushes Etc.

I’ve been calling for a month straight and everybody in the leasing office act like they don’t know what they’re doing! WHY HAVEN'T ANYBODY CAME TO FIX THIS STUFF? It’s stuff that should’ve been fixed before I even moved in. I’m highly disappointed and disgusted that they thought this was okay. It’s been a month and I still haven’t received new blinds, the hole is still in my floor they keep lying about contractors coming and they never come! Landscaping needs to be called to fix the front yard. It’s Terrible! I paid way too much money for this place to look like this.

Update: I lived here for 3 years, my kitchen ceiling was leaking for a whole year and they didn’t send anybody out to fix it within that time until I stopped paying my rent after emailing, calling, stopping in the office for a whole year. I even went as far as emailing gates Hudson and they didn’t care!!! They only wanted money! Even when I stopped paying my rent due to the fact my ceiling leaks every time I showered, they still didn’t fix the issue, they decided to take me to court instead.

Every time I showered the water would come through the kitchen ceiling which damaged the kitchen ceiling, cabinets and countertops. When the maintenance came in they fixed the leak however they damaged more stuff in the process and said they’ll come back and never fixed it. The property manager Carlisha, Maintence supervisor who drives the Range Rover are so incompetent they don’t do their job at all! Carilisha always hides in her office, you never see her and she barely answers any emails but always have the nerve to be “out of office” both of them need to be fired! She’s the worst property manager I’ve ever dealt with.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! If anything goes wrong you’re on your own! They want you to sign a lease but don’t fix anything! All of the reviews are true! Please believe them.

I lived here two years ago, and it was the worst experience ever. Water leakage caused a crack in the ceiling, and they put a huge hole in my wall to fix it—but never came back to repair it. I couldn’t even host a housewarming because of how bad it was, stayed like that for six months, and they had the audacity to try to charge me for drywall. It’s ridiculous that people like this are even employed in this field. No hot water in main bedroom for a week and then my kitchen water was cold for a month.

Know your rights. Here are some steps to take when they don’t respond:
1. Submit a maintenance ticket as soon as the issue arises.
2. Follow up with an email and include screenshots of your ticket.
3. Keep doing follow-ups via email to create a paper trail and track how long they go without fixing the problem.

They’re quick to reach out about rent and fees—but that’s it. Stay on top of them, and if they still don’t respond, file for escrow with solid proof. Make sure you have all your screenshots showing your attempts to communicate and their lack of response. If they claim they sent someone out, ask for proof—especially when you know they’re lying. The courts will collect rent from you and, if the judgment is in your favor, they’ll return a % of your money. That’ll definitely spark some frustration on their end!!!

I came back to see if things had improved, and I make it a point to let people know about this. Overall, the apartments are nice, but they need better management—preferably run by competent people who know what they’re doing. A good Mexican maintenance team would be a game changer, too. Shoutout to Carlos! And I pray that petty, malicious lady with the big nose isn’t working here anymore.

Bad first move in experience. We gave a month in an advance notice for the designated move in date and on the day of, the place was not ready. Had to move in the following day.
Upon moving in the following day. The place had too many issues. Missing cabinet door in the kitchen, missing switch cover, backyard is supposed to have a fence but it’s missing, bathtub has paint cracks, kitchen sink was leaking water under the cabinet because they had not connected it to the dish washer. The place said it was supposed to be renovated but was far from it and again they had a month and a half in advance to fix the place. We also had no hot water for the first 3 days because the boiler had issues. To summarize everything, it was an awful first move in experience.
