JEJE"

My brother was homeless and living under a tree. They accepted him into the program. He's been there for 5 months and is doing great. I got to tour the downstairs of the house and it's very pretty and immaculately kept. From my understanding, each person has a chore to do and that's part of their keep at this amazing house. They meet with him to stay on top of his goals and where he is currently. My brother has kitchen duty. LOL!

a friend of mine was staying there and the literal horror stories i’ve heard! the staff was rude and condescending and not welcoming at all. my friend told me she would much rather live on the streets than go thru the horror that she went thru again.

Hello my name is Faith and I'm Tymeika Harris mother. My daughter and granddaughter was living here at this Shelter when alot of knit picking started against them from the Executive Director and also the residents. Fran and Julie are the ones that has started issues with Tymeika. They listen to everyone else but could not hear my daughter out with her complaints. My daughter is a hard working single mother that does everything she can for her and her daughter. When Tymeika called me about the situation, I even tried to call Fran and speak with her about why she made my granddaughter change her sitting area. Fran didn't want to hear me at all she was rude and disrespectful towards me. She kept cutting me off during my conversation with her and kept saying she could not talk to me about my daughter. I told her I wanted to speak to someone higher than her and she ignored me. I than called back and asked to speak with Julie, Fran answered and said Julie was not there which she lied to me cause Tymeika said she was there. My daughter followed the rules there and did not do anything wrong in order for them to be putting her out with a 12 year old and no place to go. I do believe that my daughter have been discriminated against and I want further action taken upon Fran and Julie concerning my daughter. Alot of lies have been told on my daughter and it's not right! They listen to everyone else complaints but would not hear my daughter out with hers. What is it to put someone out because she didn't put mats back down on the floor after she moped. The floor was still wet, how dumb can that be. Anyway there will be something done about this. Someone please we need your help to direct us to the highest person over Fran and Julie!

Hello my name is Tymeika Harris and I have a complaint about this place Can someone point me in the direction of getting in contact with Gail the president or Vice President of Easton promise Talbot Interfaith Shelter. I have been accused of not following rules here and their was a fight that occurred the first week of October with two female residents which is against policy and they’re still living here. I am being discriminated against and wrongfully being removed on Thursday Nov. 8th. I am seeking justice and need to talk to the board of directors immediately for what’s being done. I am being being put out with a 12 year old with no where to go. I am currently working and my daughter is in school they’re putting us out in the middle of the week plus I asked them for an extension to give us time to pack our things and executive director Julie and operational manager Fran told us they will not change their decision. We are asking for someone to reach out and direct me in the right place. Plus the operational manager Fran broke confidentially by telling the residents in the house that we have to exit on Nov 8 2018 that’s no one else business but mines and the staff. So unprofessional what these people have done.

Real red flag/cautionary tale. I am a homeless, single male with no kids. Was boinced around local resources, and ended up speaking with Fran. Not good. She was adversarial during every contact, even when I confronted this behavior. I may be going through tough times, but don't deserve to be treated like this when reaching out for help. A 5 pm, mandatory, day/night/weekend? I am 51..I have a family to mend fences with, and work in the restaurant business. Stuff like this makes you just want to sleep in the woods. Fran needs a job where she can appreciate learning from those better qualified than her..she is not kind.

For those that didnt succeed with TIS THEY DIDNT WANT TO IT MAY NOT BE EASY BUT IT CERTAINLY IS NOT COMPLICATED YOU HAVE TO WANT IT AND YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT unfortunately most dont want to work for change... after moving into the shelter and taking the nessicary steps with the help of the directors Fran and Julie I am now in the transitional housing ....since moving to the shelter just a year ago homeless with a very small child I have gained employment (I also held a full time job during my entire stay at TIS) held a day care position for my son for several months and have purchased a vehicle off the lot....I am capable of retaining employment and motivated to maintain the life style I have achieved for my son and my family. Due to TIS help my husband was able to gain full time employment and maintain our Bill's while maintaining our vehicle and a roof for my son and I. We came to tis with not a dollar to our names we were not drug addicts or bad off we were on hard times work was slow and the money just wasnt available... after bouncing from home to home and motels for almost a year we ended up at tis and a year later we are planning on purchasing a home we are able to buy all the essentials and are able to still save money...its been an up hill battle for a long time for me my son and my husband and thanks to tis it's a sleds ride now....MY LIFE CHANGED MOST IMPORTANTLY MY SONS LIFE HAS CHANGED ...IF ITS WASNT FOR FRAN😘 AND JULIE😘 AND THE TIS CREW I CAN HONESTLY SAY I DONT KNOW WHERE ID BE AND IM GRATEFUL EVERYDAY TO HAVE THE SUPPORT SYSTEM I HAVE BECAUSE OF TIS...thank you so much Mrs. Fran and Mrs. Julie for everything you do every single day!!!!! - S&B&R
