Towne Square – yesss! Great place! I like the way the community cares and looks after one another. And, I too still see a lot of visibility from the developers to make sure our little area continues to thrive. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect at first, but I think post- pandemic Suitland can quickly become a star re: economic development for the County because of communities like this.

Definitely long overdue after 10 years of planning the Mixed Use Town Center (MUTC). It will, hopefully, bring in increased cultural diversity, community enhancement and economic prosperity that will be of benefit to the local community. The location is prime area as related to the newly developed Wharf and Capital Riverfront in D.C. along with major development adjacent to Branch Ave. Metro.

I live in the private apartments on huron ave directly behind the new town homes I've been here since 2017 I've seen this from them breaking ground my concern is these 3 apartment buildings here that we are in are we going to be asked to leave soon ? Does anyone one know about what residents should do ? How does that work ? Does the state relocate us or are we out on our own ?

Long over do I hope it looks good as Georgetown or downtown silver spring or Chiniatown when they build it anything is better than the horrible eyesore that was previously there a bunch of hole in the walls they need to put a silver dinner restaurant on silver hill road because it goes with the name not only that the Suitland area needs a Dairy Queen , Roy Rogers , Krespy Kream Doughnut shop , Orange Julius , WAWA. , Walmart. , Nine West. , Best Buy. , Bob Evans. , H&M. I'm giving this 4 stars on the hopes of what it will become. We have a contract in for a townhouse there. We are excited about the development and the value that it will bring to the neighborhood. Suitland needs it.
