I have been a resident for a little over two and a half years. Unlike the senior living apartment in Germantown where I came from, Victoria Park is quiet and impeccably maintained. About two months ago I moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom unit. Whether processing the paperwork or the actual logistics of moving from my old to new unit, Linda the property manager made sure that everything went both quickly and seamlesly. I found Linda both knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am very happy living here and would highly recommend Victoria Park to others.

This facility is amazing! I would give it 20 stars if I could.
Having wanting to come home to my roots, and living in Nevada at the time, one can understand how difficult it was to find a suitable place. I researched, through websites, practically every senior apartment facility in both Frederick County and Washington County Maryland. Through the eyes and ears of an East coast friend, eight to ten of what I considered to be the best ones were physically checked out. My friend reported back to me "Victoria Park, is the best." So I started to correspond with Linda, the Victoria Park, Walkersville facility manager, and that brings me to the 20 star rating. I would not be here today were it not for Linda. She and I corresponded for months, me asking a ton of questions and she so willingly answering every one. She is absolutley the heart, soul and ears of Victoria Park, Walkersville! She made my moving here, from 3000 miles away, effortless and smooth by covering every detail.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the maintainance staff, of TWO!! Two people for an 80 apartment facility and this place is kept spotless by one amazing lady! All inside and outside maintenance, i.e., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, emergency repairs, etc., etc. handled professionally by one very knowledgable man. These two folks are very special.
That brings me to Linda. I say to corporate, the owners, whomever, please do not let her get away. She IS Victoria Park Senior Apartments at Walkersville, MD.

Update: I still can't say enough good things about this place. The staff has been very helpful with all of our needs. Definitely recommend to any senior looking for an apartment that is in a relatively quiet area.

I just moved my mother in this week. This is a great facility! The property manager has been extremely helpful in getting through all of the paperwork, and the communication has been excellent. She & the maintenance staff have been very attentive to the property as well as the resident's needs. I would definitely recommend Victoria Park in Walkersville.

I have a family member who moved in a few months ago. I visit often and from what I have seen, everything is top notch at this facility. There are various social activities offered, which is so nice for the residents. The manager is excellent. She is very attentive to the property and makes sure everything looks great. She is also helpful, kind, and patient with the residents. Any maintenance issues in the building are also addressed quickly and adequately. I would definitely recommend Victoria Park to other Seniors as well.

I definitely enjoy living here. My apartment is very nice. There are also some great activites such as Christmas In July Party, Monthly Birthday Parties, Holiday Get Togethers etc. The property is well kept and very clean (landscaping, interior and exterior of building, parking area etc). Management is helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend Victoria Park.

If I could write a negative review I would.This is a non-smoking property, but they did not enforce it. Residents and/or their relatives were smoking inside their apartments, vaping and using marijuana. There are people who have lung and heart conditions, but Management does not care to investigate claims.
Sewage backed up from toilet into shower once per month. Burning food permeated the hallways. Again, Management did nothing. Stay away from there if you care about your loved ones. Moved my Mom out about 3 months ago, I should have done it sooner.

Maintenance guy that currently works here is worthless. Barely speaks English, or pretending to not speak English. He has no manners, talks about people behind their back and smokes on the property. People complain about his lack of initiative and getting actual work tickets off his long list. The only time anything gets done is when the owners come around.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experince at this location. The management here has been extremly helpful in virtually every facet of my residency. My neighbors are friendly and have gone out of their way to make me feel at home. If I could award six stars, I would!
