Every time I apply for any kind of assistance they take either too long or they lose my documents I apply for food stamps on the 9th waited 10 days for them to call me and never did and then I was 2 hours on the phone waiting for customer service to tell me that I have to reapply because they can't find my application I haven't seen benefits since July it's almost September and when I applied I asked for emergency stamps and they say they don't do that no more

No one will answer the phone. The auto phone attendant is obviously antique. Says press 1 for English Pete and repeat press 1. Press 1 trying another all you get is computer messages. We are people we need assistance. No more put offs. Calling the 800 call center is no help refer you to local office. Sham.

They opened my case for four months than sent me a renewal i filled it out sent it back. than told me i had to reapply and do everything all over again. I had just got out the hospital for a spinal cord injury and telling me i had to come to mandatory interview and i wasn't able to go but everything they asked me for i gave even when i didn't understand why i had to keep applying. anyway that was my experience and they closed my case because i was unable to go.

I feel like every time I come here I am treated unfairly. I get lied to, no help, i feel like they are biased and do not give everybody the same fair treatment, it's all about who u kno.

Second time this year my benefits have been cut due to the redetermination letters being received late. I received my letter the day AFTER it was due. When I called the woman was rude and told me my only options were to dispute, but told me it would be difficult for me since I no longer had the paperwork, or to reapply and wait.
I don't make enough money and can't wait over a month for this.

I understand that their is a Pandemic going on. But we still have jobs to do and this place/DHS main office customer service unit is definitely falling short all together. I called every single day for a week at all different times. Also hit the call back option each time after being on hold for longer than 20 minutes each time. Obviously the call back option is not working because I have still not, here it is Wednesday of the following week received a call back. Last week I also, since not getting through. Decided to set up an account through "mydhr". Since I had a scheduled appointment and needed to report a new number change which I did in my account. So after a few minutes of the time my appointment was scheduled and no call. I have been here on hold for exactly 27:00 minutes. Ridiculous!!!

Horrid. Absolutely horrid. I spent 5 days calling, being told by an automated system I'd be called back & nothing. Both my disabled kids were kicked off their disability bc of the stimulus payments & strategic SSI deposits made on the 1st & 30th of 1 month in order to boost the bank statement balance over $2000 then the next month was $0. I filed a complaint to the OIG & they retaliated by cancelling my son's payment even after I filed an appeal within 10days. When I went to the office I was told "they'll get to it when they get to it" meanwhile my rent check & mva check bounced bc they gave no notice what so ever. These ppl do not care about your disabled children, disabled ppl as a whole, or your livelihood. They are just there to do the bare minimum, collect a paycheck & go home. Appallingly disgusting the way the treat ppl. Not to mention, every single time we go there the security guards feel the need to accost me or my disabled children bc God forbid they sit together. Unreal.
