Was nice great places to go , visited the Mc Garth, Amphitheater. Will sure come back and explore more of the downtown and surrounding. I love small towns

Went to the Bourbon Smokehouse and had a wonderful meal! Something new and different! Everything was just great! The ambience was good, the servers were excellent! The food was delicious!! U have to check this place out if your ever in the Cedar Rapids Downtown district. The menu prices are very nice to your pockets too.

Parking is a problem plenty to do down there if you can find somewhere to park. That's generally why I don't go downtown CR, it seems it's always easier to go somewhere else to eat, shop, You have more meter maids than you do parking spots giving tickets. And everything is a mess due to construction all the time. I can't remember the last 5 years when I went to cedar rapids and didn't have to go through or around some type of work being done.

I love being able to go downtown and not having to walk into the courthouse or cop station because I have some really horrible experiences in those buildings as I'm currently clean wrecked my moped and almost died and the cops took it without my permission. Therefore the last time I was down there I did cause a huge scene and yelled at them for doing us good citizens wrong. Luckily after having a breakdown my fiance helped me realize that my moped is in my mother's name so therefore she can get it without the cops permission since I wasn't even supposed to pick it up and ride it as I was supposed to ride it in a safe space that Pastor Rick knew of and was going to deliver the mopeds there instead of us picking them up and me almost dying and missing Overtime concert while on a breathing tube.

Who's Great idea was to add "separate" bike lanes Parked on 3rd Ave, had to walk in street to corner due to the snow in the bike lanes preventing anyone from accessing the sidewalks

Was just fine before the Hibu plaza speaker got installed and now plays Ceelo Green until midnight every night. Haven’t slept in weeks and I show it. Take it down and bump DT CR to 3 stars
